Twelve Churches

Twelve Churches was initiated and incorporated to support the churches in Nicaragua by working with and equipping pastors and their congregations to better bring people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the power of Jesus Christ brings lasting change. We partner with local churches to empower and uplift their churches and communities.
Our hope is to equip and encourage pastors and lay people to grow in confidence and spiritual maturity,
that they may, with the power of Jesus Christ, carry out God's mission in their communities.

Nicaragua Feeding Centers

Malnutrition is a serious health problem in Nicaragua. This ministry provides a nutritious lunch five times each week for sponsored children in communities of Leon, Nicaragua. Lunch is a fun time of fellowship with Pastors and volunteers, singing, Bible stories, prayer, laughter, and good food. These programs are located in churches supported by the Twelve Churches Ministry.

Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe and families together. Safe Families for Children is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Our goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system, and support and stabilize families.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Sleep in Heavenly Peace Tallahassee Chapter is a group of volunteers dedicated to finding those children who are sleeping on the floor or otherwise unwanted conditions, and delivering custom hand-built bunk beds to those in need. In addition, we bring the community together by teaching them how to build and deliver the bunk beds they build. Each bed that SHP delivers to a child sleeping on the floor offers comfort and safety. Often times, the kids who get our beds have never owned a bed of their own. By taking action today, you can experience the joy of making sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town!

The MomCo at Killearn

The MomCo (Formerly known as MOPS-Mothers of Preschoolers), believes in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. Our rally cry is to raise moms to new heights, arm in arm, side-by-side, we are on a mission to call moms to elevate themselves and motherhood, and ultimately, help them to find freedom in Jesus.

iServe

The mission of iServe is to use the gifts and resources of our church family to help our neighbors and church members who need assistance. They focus on minor carpentry, painting, home and yard maintenance, and other similar activities. iServe seeks to provide a safer environment for homeowners by partnering with nonprofit organizations.

Humble House

Humble House is a 12 month faith based women's residential recovery program right here in Tallahassee! We help women in addiction by providing safe, residential housing, discipling them through Bible-centered teaching, and equipping them to live God honoring lives! We have been open since June 2021 and we have grown immensely in such a short time. We are currently full with 9 ladies with 6 more on a waiting list. We believe that Jesus Christ can transform and change these women's lives in such a way that they do not ever have to return to their destructive lifestyles. So far, we have had 5 ladies accept Christ and be baptized and 9 ladies rededicate their lives to Christ by baptism!

The Living Harvest

The primary goal of the Living Harvest is to facilitate a stable environment that gives individuals an opportunity to rebuild their lives and re-enter society as an active contributing member by achieving residential stability, increasing their skill levels and obtaining greater self determination and moral integrity. Their volunteer-run thrift shop, and voucher program for men re-entering, supports the ministry while reaching out to the community. Ministry goals are achieved through 12-Step groups, Spiritual Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Education, Case Management, Anger Management, Reintegration Skills (Life Management), Employment Assistance, Safe/Drug Free Residential Environment, Online Educational Learning Programs, Transportation Assistance

ECHO

ECHO reaches a wide and diverse demographic of Tallahassee-area families and individuals who are struggling to find stability and prosperity as a result of trauma or hardship. They define poverty as the extent someone does without a broad array of resources--not just a lack of money. Whether they are financial, material, educational, relational, or spiritual needs, clients are facing a shortage of these at any given time and are in need of donors and mentors who can help them get ahead.

Neighborly

Neighborly is a relationship-based poverty relief organization advocating for biblical justice. Their mission is to deinstitutionalize charity by helping you become friends with those at a disadvantage. They are welcoming refugees who have fled persecution, feeding those experiencing homelessness and hunger, and writing snail mail to seniors who receive the least amount of visitors. In Kenya, they’re providing the required school clothes to ensure Kenyan children can receive an education, and purifying unsafe drinking water.
